Michele has always believed that one individual can be the catalyst for monumental change. While working herself through university, she became the first female ever to be hired for the factory floor by IKO Industries. Secure in the knowledge that anything is possible, after attending university Michele launched her own successful catering business.

 

Some of the most rewarding years of Michele's career were spent as a part of an executive team building BTI Canada, a mid-sized firm ranked the second largest travel management company in Canada, into an organization recognized as one of the 50 Best Employers in Canada. In this dynamic environment Michele began to discover her future when she started training the company’s 1200 employees in effective communication skills.

 

Fourteen years later, Michele became the President of L(earn)2 Inc. where she was able to live her purpose and her passion - creating environments where people can excel  - while simultaneously leading the L(earn)2 team to record profits and growth. Working with sales teams, management teams, high-profile business leaders and even Canada’s 2010 Olympic Team, Michele further cemented her personal philosophy: the development of one individual can begin organizational transformation.

Never one to shy away from a challenge, and as a direct result of her work with Bell Canada, Michele jumped into a role in Digital Media in 2010 heading one of Canada's largest English portals, Sympatico.ca. 

 

With over 20 years of leadership and communication experience Michele’s direct, often humorous style has earned her rave reviews from clients all over North America, including Rogers, CBC, Manulife, The Canadian Olympic Committee and Bell Canada. Her experience in companies of all sizes and across various industries has provided her with a rare understanding of the true impact leadership has on an organization, its employees and, most dramatically, profits.

 

Nicknamed the mirror, Michele has an uncanny ability to notice and reflect what is really happening whether within an individual or within a team. This skill has made Michele a much sought after executive coach as well as team facilitator.
